The internet is overflowing with cute animal videos. Cats, dogs, even funky pigeons seem to regularly take the top spot on YouTube. For anyone who loves animals, now is the best time to find a daily dose of cuteness to brighten your day. Here at Meet A Creature we love animals and are no strangers to a cute animal video or two. But why are we all so completely obsessed with animal videos?
Of course, to answer such a question we must first look at a number of the best animal videos available on the internet:
Our Current Favourites
Cats have one true arch-nemesis in life. Their furry counterpart the dog, you ask? No, in fact, cats have been at war with one thing and one thing only in 2017… cucumbers. Cats and cucumbers do not, for some mystical reason, get along at all. Not convinced? Examine exhibit A:
Or would you like to relive your childhood whilst introducing your children to the excellence of Super Mario Bros. You could introduce the game to them, digging out your old Nintendo 64 to do so, or you could let a hamster start a lifelong love for you. “Thank you, Mario! But our princess is in another cage!”
The eating habits of bearded dragons are also a point of fun on the internet. Or more so their inability to eat. Show this to your child and enjoy some belly laughs as the grape becomes more and more out of reach of this poor little fellow:
Why are Animal Films So Popular?
It’s a difficult question, but one that the smile currently on your face can answer. Animals are attractive, engaging and can help your child to laugh and learn.
With programmes such as Planet Earth II – which attracted 12.26 million UK viewers – it is clear how many of us love to watch how animals behave. And children are no different! This is interest that should be cultivated, grown and perhaps your son or daughter will be the next Sir David Attenborough.
Our children’s animal parties are the perfect way to help encourage your children’s love of animals and make their special day even more exciting. From water dragons to geckos, there is sure to be something to fascinate every child (and grown-up) who attends this special event.
Are you interested in adding some amazing animals to your child’s big day? There will be plenty of photo opportunities – and maybe a video clip for YouTube. Give us a call on 07432560371 to talk to us about our animal parties and workshops today.
